Well done to all the boys and girls who took part in the recent Lee’s Road finals. We had a great day and once again came home with medals! Congrats to Aoibheann and Sophie!!  A huge thank you to the parents who always help out  and make the day so enjoyable!

At this time of year breakouts of head lice can be quite common. It is very important to check hair regularly for head lice and to treat if necessary. We would ask that all long hair be tied neatly back and any break outs of head lice be communicated to the school.

Thank you to everyone who dropped bags of unwanted clothes and shoes to the school in the past week . There were over 150 large bags of clothing collected. The clothes will be collected tomorrow morning before school. Money collected goes towards paying for various resources throughout the year – new books, games for the classrooms, buses for Cumann na mBunscol etc.

A huge well done to all the children and families who supported the Shoebox Appeal for Team Hope this year. The shoeboxes were collected today by Helen Canny and will be brought to the warehouse in Ennis to be sorted and shipped.

Thank you to the children in 4th class who helped Helen load the boxes. A total of 73 boxes were collected.
