Seasons greetings from all of us in Feakle NS!

🎃 Our pupils and staff enjoyed our Halloween fancy dress day with some spooktacular costumes 👻

On Tuesday the 4th of October we celebrated and raised our sixth green flag. The sixth green flag is awarded for Global Citizenship, litter and waste. Well done to all the boys and girls.

During the past fortnight, 5th and 6th class were learning about the work of environmentalists and how they are helping to make the world a better place.

This week we all wrote a poem about the environment with a focus on trying to do our best for the fragile world we live in.

Thanks to Brian, Shane and Michaela for our first GAA training session this year.

As part of our Blue Star Programme, we took part in some special events today, organised by European Movement Ireland to mark Europe Day on 9th May. We completed our last Kahoot quiz on Institutions of the EU, then watched a live event with Minister Thomas Byrne and An Taoiseach Michéal Martin, brought home some EU resources and finally had an “air handshake” for Europe.
