Planting Daffodils

Let there be daffodils.

On a beautiful autumn day we were thinking ahead to spring. We planted our daffodil bulbs and we even found some insects and had a closer look. Now we can enjoy our beautiful daffodils. Well done everyone.

Music Generation

These are the songs that each classroom created with Katie in the first term. Hope you all enjoy them!

Indoor Hurling

Both the boys and girls attended the indoor hurling in Flagmount on Wednesday 23rd. The boys won their tournament. The girls drew with Flagmount/Dromindoora and had to replay on Monday 28th. Unfortunately the girls lost the match. Indoor hurling is a very fast game. Both teams played very well and must be congratulated for their team effort.

Christmas Jumper Day

Children wore their Christmas jumpers to school on December 14th last. Children donated €80 to charity. This will be given to a children’s charity in January. Thank you to all for your generous donations.

Halloween Fun October

We had lots of fun before midterm break. Our Trick-or-Treat Terrible Thursday walk took place on Thursday 25th; the student council organised games for all the classes in the hall that was decorated by our fantastic Parents Association and lots of Halloween goodies were made to finish our unit of work on procedural writing. Lots of fun and games!

Hope Shoebox Appeal

This year over seventy shoeboxes were donated by Feakle NS children to the Hope Shoebox Appeal. This is such a worthy cause and means so much to the children who receive them every year. Well done to all who donated!
